Camping Paradis by the beach
Just 2 km away, the plage du Bureau is the resort’s first historic beach! Nearby Plage du Platin, with its south/south-west orientation, is the widest beach, while Plage de la Grande Côte, with its long strips of sand running along the dunes for several kilometers, stretches all the way to Les Mathes. You can also access Nauzan beach, shared with the commune of Vaux-sur-Mer, which hosts a nautical center, or Concié beach, a small, discreet cove little known to the general public (ask us for the secret passage!).
Depending on what you want to do during your stay at Camping Paradis in Royan or the surrounding area, you can enjoy sailing, kiteboarding, paddleboarding, optimist sailing, surfing, snorkeling, sand yachting, windsurfing, jet skiing and other beach sports such as beach volleyball.
You can go from one beach to the other on foot or by bicycle, the distance between them being 3 kilometers.
The common thread running through all these walks along the Saint-Palais seafront is the sentier des Douaniers, a lovely path that runs along the seafront over ledges and beaches, a natural curiosity to behold.
